EGYPT: Helwan , xi.1944, R.L. Coe, B.M. 1946–39 [♂ (lectotype), BMNH]; same data as lectotype [1♂ 3♀♀ (paralectotypes), BMNH] .
Remarks. The species was originally described from Egypt based on eleven males and nine females and it has not been recorded thereafter. Here, Collin’s extensive and detailed description is completed by the illustration of the male and female terminalia ( Figs 8A–F View Fig ) and by the lateral habitus view of the female ( Fig. 9 View Fig ) in order to enable a secure identification.
