This species was noted from panicled tick-trefoil ( Desmodium paniculatum (L.) DC) in Northeast Ohio, USA ( Foote 1985; Foote et al. 1987).

Reported from piles of rotting Narcissus View in CoL bulbs and attracted to black locust trees ( Robinia pseudoacacia View in CoL ) in the USA ( Blanton 1938; Foote 1985; Foote et al. 1987). There is no known host plant association.
