Range:— Amazonian region of Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, and Bolivia (CO, LP, PA, SC).
Ecology:— Fairly common; hemiepiphytic in humid forests on clayey and sandy soils, growing on fallen branches, tree bases, and sometimes on the ground; to 500(1100) m.
