Tests nautiloid, lenticular, discoid. Proloculus small and spherical. Endothyroidally or planispirally coiled tests, rarely uncoiled. Chambers globular and not numerous.
Family NANICELLIDAE Fursenko, 1959
Tests planispirally coiled, uniseriate, involute to evolute. Chambers undivided. Aperture simple, basal. Rare in Emsian; relatively common to common from Eifelian to Frasnian.
