Material examined. [ Turkey: İzmir Prov.], Tireh [Tire], Kis Dale (ex. Coll. Lederer, 8187), 1 male (Lectotype, here designated), 1 female (Paralectotype), 1 female nymph ( NMW) .

Remarks. Werner (1901: 292) described this species based on 1 male and 1 female syntype. One additional specimen, a female nymph (nontype), is also present in the same collection. The male is designated as lectotype for the reason explained in the Introduction and Material and Methods sections.
