Poecilimon rufonitens Ingrisch et Pavicevic, 1985 View in CoL sp. rev.
Material examined. Greece: Kavala , Mt. Pangaio, above Akrovouni, 1250 m, 5.8.1979, 1 male , 1300 m, 17.7.1982, 1 female (leg. F. Willemse) ( AİBÜEM) .
Remarks. This species was originally described from Kavala, Ori Lekanis (the type locality), and Pangaio (Pangeon). It was synonymized with P. anatolicus by Heller (1988) and Tilmans et al. (1989). The late Fer Willemse sent me a couple of P. rufonitens specimens collected from Mt. Pangaio, the location of the paratypes for this species. These specimens fully agree with the original description and the figures 3 and 4 from Ingrisch et Pavicevic (1985: 52, 53), and they are distinctly different from P. anatolicus . Based on a detailed morphological comparison with specimens collected from Uludağ (the type locality of P. anatolicus ), I conclude that P. rufonitens should be considered a valid species.
