Remarks. Ramme (1930) and Çıplak (2000) regarded the type material as syntypes, which included both sexes collected from Taurus, Gülek. However, Brunner (1861: 295) described only the female sex, stating that the male was unknown to him. Later, Brunner (1882: 337–338) examined additional material, including both male and female specimens. Therefore, the male and female specimens collected from Gülek by Lederer cannot be classified as syntypes. From the original description of this species, it can be understood that Brunner used more than one female specimen. In the main collection of NMW, there are two females with identical label data, both collected from Tauria (Taurus) by Kotschy, which must be considered syntypes. One of these females has been designated as the lectotype.
