Material examined. Turkey: Aydın Prov., Çine, Bölüntü-Dereli , 326 m, 37°33.053´N, 27°57.210´E, 14.7.2023, 1 male, 2 females (in alcohol), 1 female (leg. M. Ünal ) ( AİBÜEM) GoogleMaps ; İzmir Prov., Ephesus [Efes], 1 male (leg. Brunner) ( NMW) .
Remarks. A male specimen collected from Ephesus (Efes) was described by Ramme (1951) as an unknown member of the species A. anatolicus . Due to the shape of its subgenital plate, with a deep incision, it may be mistaken for another species. In reality, this characteristic is similar to that of A. turcicus . However, a thorough examination, including an analysis of the titillators, revealed that the subgenital plate was deformed and likely damaged during the nymphal stages. Therefore, this male is identified as A. tolunayi , comparing some specimens from the type locality.
