Remarks. According to Çıplak et al. (2002: 216), the female (paralectotype) from Pergamon [Bergama] lacks two foveolae on the hind margin of the subgenital plate. This female was studied, and the female subgenital plate agrees with that of the holotype of Platycleis bifoveolata Karabağ, 1950 , which is a synonym of this species and all the other typical females of P. schereri . The foveolae are also present but less distinct.
