Material examined. Azerbaijan: Nachicevan [Nakchiven], Karmalinovka , 24.7.1917, 2 females (Paratypes) ( MfN) .
Remarks. This species is a member of the subgenus Squamiana based on the structure of the female tegmina, subgenital plate and ovipositor, which are distinctive of the subgeneric rank of Platycleis s. lat. ( Ünal 2006: 172– 175, 2018: 9).
