MERODON AUREUS View in CoL COMPLEX

In this study, we describe geometric morphometric and molecular evidence that support the presence of three independent species in the Merodon aureus complex: M. aureus , M. calidus and M. ortus , all with distinct and remote distribution, except sympatric populations of M. aureus and M. calidus on Stara Planina (Serbia) .
