T. pseudoglabrum View in CoL (much more numerous outer phyllaries, less distinct border on them)
T. natschikense (a very indistinct, narrow border to 0.1–0.2 mm wide, or border ± absent)
T. malaisei (pollen absent, much longer outer phyllaries)
T. longicorne (stigmas light discoloured, outer phyllaries with a broader border, longer horns)
T. perlatescens (much more numerous outer phyllaries)
T. trigonolobum (all the features available in the type material of T. ceratophorum match those of T. trigonolobum )
We conclude that the name Taraxacum ceratophorum is to be interpreted as an older synonym of T. trigonolobum . For discussions on the plasticity and relationships of the latter, see Haglund (1946, 1948), see also the full treatment under the former name in the present paper.
