In API 20NE, positive for arginine dihydrolase, urease, glucose fermentation, gelatinase and β -galactosidase, but negative for nitrate reduction, indole production and esculin hydrolysis. Utilize D-glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, D-mannitol and potassium gluconate. Does not utilize capric acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D-maltose, adipic acid and phenylacetic acid. Strain MMS21-DH2R7 (= NNIBR2021642BA1) has been isolated from a freshwater sample, Gongju-si, Korea.
