Heterops hispaniolae Fisher 1932: 72 , new synonym

Remarks. The holotype of Heterops hispaniolae Fisher (USNM) was examined and determined to be conspecific with Eburiola geminata (Fabricius) . With the description of the two new species of Eburiola herein, three species are now known for Hispaniola. As this species was not listed for the Dominican Republic in Perez-Gelabert (2008) and Bezark (2024), the Dominican Republic is a new country record for E. geminata .
