Diagnosis
Body moderately shining, elongated, parallel-sided ( Fig. 7), its length 3.90-4.65 mm; head very broad (Fig. 0), dorsal surface of paraclypei clearly punctured, clypeus without subapical setigerous punctures; each paraclypeus with two primary setigerous punctures bearing long hair-like setae, secondary setigerous punctures absent ( Fig. 8); eyes large, rounded and strongly protruding, ocular index 2.5-2.9; pronotum punctured, except calli; lateral margins flattened and slightly expanded, forming narrow laminae, each bearing 4-6 submarginal hair-like setae; anterior part of pronotal disc with deep (male) or shallow (female) elongated cavity on either side; scutellum densely punctured with punctures larger than those on pronotum, basal angles broadly impunctate; costa flattened, unseparated from exocorium, costal margins without setigerous punctures bearing hair-like setae; anterior convexity of propleuron almost entirely coarsely punctured, posterior convexity of propleuron impunctate or with a few large punctures, propleural depression with a row of coarse punctures; mesopleural evaporatorium small, entire ( Fig. 9); paramere as in Fig. 10.
