Key to Chinese species of Nemeritis Holmgren (females)

1. Clypeus nearly smooth ( Fig. 4E ); interocellar distance 0.4× ocello-ocular distance and 1.0× distance between median and lateral ocelli ( Fig. 4F ); costulae absent ( Fig. 4C ); external angles of second discal cell acute (60°) ( Fig. 4A ); hind wing with CU&cu-a not intercepted; thyridium separated from basal margin of tergite ca. 3.0× its length..... Nemeritis petila sp. nov.

Clypeus granulose except the rim smooth and polished ( Fig. 2E ); interocellar distance 0.9× ocello-ocular distance and 2.0× distance between median and lateral ocelli ( Fig. 2F ); costulae weakly present ( Fig. 2C ); external angles of second discal cell vertical ( Fig. 2A ); hind wing with CU&cu-a intercepted at lower 0.3; thyridium separated from basal margin of tergite ca. 1.2× its length.......................................................................
