Remarks A small, triangular otolith resembles otoliths of the family Bembridae . Despite being a juvenile specimen, its overall outline and sulcus resemble those of Bembras or Parabembras , as depicted in Lin and Chang (2012: pl. 92). Te otoliths of Bembridae can display ontogenetic variations, particularly the overall outline, making accurate identification based on a single specimen more difficult.
