Genus Platyrhacus C.L. Koch, 1847
Type species. Platyrhacus scaber C. L. Koch, 1847 View in CoL , by subsequent designation.
Golovatch and Nguyen (2007) noted that Attems (1938, 1953) erred in having identified his samples from Vietnam and Laos as representing P. marginellus Silvestri, 1911 View in CoL . That material was described as P. similis Golovatch & Nguyen, 2007 . Therefore, the species P. marginellus View in CoL is removed from the current list.
Platyrhacus bouvieri Brölemann, 1896 View in CoL , which was listed in Enghoff et al. (2004), is also removed from the current list. Brolemann (1896) described the species from Indochina which is corrected as Thailand (= Siam) ( Golovatch and Nguyen 2007).
