Paracortina multisegmentata Stoev and Geoffroy, 2004 View in CoL
Paracortina multisegmentata Stoev and Geoffroy, 2004: 97 View in CoL , figs 9–17 (D); Akkari et al. 2023: 363 View Cited Treatment , figs 11–13, 26C, 28 (D).
Type specimens. MNHN ( JB 033 About MNHN ); NMNHS (BG-NMNHS-INV-000000006261) .
Records from Vietnam. Thanh Hoa Prov. (Ngoc Lac Distr.) ( Stoev & Geoffroy 2004).
Distribution. Only known from Vietnam.
Remarks. Akkari et al. (2023) noted that the species is quite different from other Chinese Paracortina species in having proximally crossing telopodites. The species was still tentatively placed into the genus Paracortina , but waited for more morphological and molecular data to confirm its taxonomic position.
Genus Scotopetalum Shear, 2000
Type species. Scotopetalum warreni Shear, 2000 View in CoL by original designation.
This genus was synonymised with the genus Paracortina Wang and Zhang, 1993 View in CoL ( Stoev & Enghoff 2011), but was recently re-validated with another species, S. chinensis ( Stoev and Geoffroy, 2004) ( Akkari et al. 2023) .
