DISTRIBUTION. The distribution of this species covers the northern part of the Palae-
arctic from northeastern Europe to Japan. In Siberia, G. proximus has previously been known from Tyumenskaya, Omskaya, Novosibirskaya and Tomskaya oblasts, as well as from Altaiskii krai ( Nefediev et al., 2017 b).
REMARKS. This species has hitherto been recorded neither from Kemerovskaya oblast nor from Republic of Khakassia, both SW Siberia .
