Distribution. Sarawak ( Burtt, 1970).

Notes. An illustration of the inflorescence and a dissected flower was provided in Burtt (1970).

Mindanao, Davao, Todaya, Mt Apo , v 1909, Elmer 10698 (lectotype K [K000096619], designated by Olivar et al., Taxon 71: 1088 (2022); isolectotypes A [A00054953], BISH [ BISH1001866 ], BM [ BM000630842 ], BO [BO-1869795], E [E00062579], GH [ GH00054952 ], HBG [HBG-517613], MO [ MO1997468 ], NY [ NY00312635 ], US [ US 00126213], WRSL) .

Distribution. Philippines ( Elmer, 1910), Sabah ( Burtt, 1970; Beaman et al., 2001).

Notes. The first record of this Philippine species on the island of Borneo was made by

Burtt (1970), although some of these collections, including Keith 9088 and Sinclair & Lal 9351, were later moved into Cyrtandra keithii Hillard & B.L.Burtt ( Hilliard & Burtt, 2006a). Taxonomic research is required to confirm whether this species is definitely present on the island of Borneo.
