Cyrtandra quinquenotata Kraenzl., Mitt. Inst. Allg. Bot. Hamburg 7: 105 (1927); B.L.Burtt, Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 30: 37 (1970); Hilliard, Edinburgh J. Bot. 61: 164 (2005). – Type: INDONESIA. West Borneo [West Kalimantan], Auf dem Bidang Menabei, 700 m, 12 xii 1924, Hans Winkler 787 (holotype HBG (2 sheets) [HBG-517454, HBG-517455]) .

Distribution. Kalimantan ( Kraenzlin, 1927; Burtt, 1970; Hilliard, 2005).

Notes. Notes on sclereids and the morphological affinities of this species with Cyrtandra elatostemoides and C. gibbsiae were given in Burtt (1970). A complete description and additional notes on the were given in Hilliard (2005).
