Type locality.

Edaphic, active by night both on bare ground and on leaf litter. The larva dugs burrows in clayey banks in the ecotone between streams and forest ( Di Giulio & Vigna-Taglianti, 2001). June, July (CAVT, CPMo, CGA).

The defensive and predatorial behavior of the larva of P.digiulioi Deuve, 2000 has been observed in the field and on reared specimens in laboratory ( Di Giulio & Vigna-Taglianti, 2001).
