Material examined. VIETNAM. Thai Binh: 2 ♀♀, Hong Minh, Hung Ha, 24.vi.2013 , Regd. No. 00053/P13, Regd. No. 00054/P13. Phu Tho: 1 ♀, Thu Cuc, Thanh Son, 22.vi.2024 .
Distribution. Vietnam: Tonkin (= currently north Vietnam, specific locality not indicated) ( Kohl 1918), Thai Binh ( Pham 2016), Phu Tho. Elsewhere: China ( Hong Kong), Indonesia, Singapore ( Pulawski 2024).
Remarks. Kohl (1918) recorded this species from Tonkin (= currently north Vietnam), but he did not indicate the specific locality. Phu Tho is a province in north Vietnam. Consequently, C. sumatranum is not newly recorded for this province.
