Diagnosis: Stenopsyche dvyankopayukta belongs to the S. pubescens Group and is related to S. khasia Kimmins ,

1958. In S. khasia the body of tergum X is in small ogival scale like and intermediate projections of X are slender points concave inwards at their base, superior arms of inferior appendages are large, stout apically bent outward, pointed whereas, in S. dvyankopayukta the body of tergum X is very reduced, intermediate projections of X are large complex and widely spaced, superior arms of inferior appendages are curved into double hooks.
