Geographic distribution:—Guaratuba: M.E. Engels et al. 583 (MBM!). Morretes: M.E. Engels et al. 557 (UPCB!). Paranaguá: M.E. Engels et al. 556 (UPCB!).

Preliminary conservation status:—Critically endangered (CR – B2ab[ii,iii]). AOO = 4 km 2.

Conservation unit:—Saint-Hilaire/Lange National Park.
