Habitat:—Subtropical Highland Grasslands, growing on moist basaltic rocky outcrops at an elevation of 936–1075. Geographic distribution:—Candói: J.R. Ferraz 698 (FUEL!). Guarapuava: G. Hatschbach 43246 (MBM!).
Number of gatherings:—5. Most recent record:—2019.
Preliminary conservation status:—Critically endangered (CR – B1ab[i,ii,iii]+B2ab[i,ii,iii]). EOO = 23.22 km 2 and AOO = 12 km 2.
