Habitat:—This species was collected on the banks of the Chopim River and in soybean and corn crops.
Geographic distribution:—Palmas: W.M. Kranz 495 (FUEL!). Pitanga: W.M. Kranz 491 (FUEL!). Teixeira Soares: W.M. Kranz 453 (HAS).
Number of gatherings:—3. Most recent record:—1989.
Preliminary conservation status:—Endangered (EN – B2ab[i,ii,iii]). EOO = 13,224.218 km 2 and AOO = 12 km 2.
