Habitat:—Seasonal Semideciduous Forest, Araucaria Forest and Subtropical Highland Grasslands , growing in periodically flooded areas associated with Imbituva River, rocky gorges of the Tibagi River, and in edges of forests. The elevation records range from 731 to 1072 m a.s.l.
