Habitat:—This species occurs in the Alluvial Araucaria Forest , at an elevation of 815–969 m a.s.l.
Geographic distribution:—Ortigueira: O.S. Ribas et al. 7974 (MBM!). Reserva: V.F. Kinupp et al. 113 (FUEL!). Number of gatherings:—7. Most recent record:—2010.
Preliminary conservation status:—Critically endangered (CR – B2ab[ii,iii]). AOO = 8 km 2.
