Life form:—Climber.
Habitat:—It occurs probably in the Araucaria Forest.
Geographic distribution:—The label of the type specimen is described: Plantae Brasilienses. Paraná, Legrú In silva prim . minus dense nec non ad marg. ejusdem. The locality “Legrú” refers to an old railway station located in the municipality of União da Vitória, south of Paraná. This railway station opened in 1908 was renamed Engenheiro Eugênio de Mello and is currently demolished .
