Geographic distribution:—Jaguariaíva: G. Hatschbach & A. Souza 50904 (MBM!). Piraí do Sul: M.L. Brotto et al. 938 (HUCS). Ponta Grossa: C.H.Voltolini 51 (HUEM).

Preliminary conservation status:—Endangered (EN – B1ab[i,ii,iii]+B2ab[i,ii,iii]). EOO = 351.753 km 2 and AOO = 12 km 2.
Conservation unit:—Vila Velha State Park.
