Life form:—Herb.
Habitat:—The botanist Ravenna collected bulbs in the municipality of Clevelândia and subsequently cultivated them in Santiago, Chile. It is likely that the species is found in the Subtropical Highland Grasslands.
Geographic distribution:—Clevelândia: P. Ravenna 3388 (MBM).
Number of gatherings:—1. Most recent record:—1990.
Preliminary conservation status:—Critically endangered (CR – B2ab[ii,iii]). AOO = 4 km 2.
