Life form:—Herb.

Habitat:—It occurs on the riverside rocks of the Jangada River and Capivari River, in the Alluvial Araucaria Forest. The elevation records range from 780 to 900 m a.s.l.

Geographic distribution:—Bocaiúva do Sul: G. Hatschbach, G 20232 (MBM!). General Carneiro: G. Hatschbach 22723 (MBM!). Tunas do Paraná: J.M. Cruz & L.M. Abe 34 (MBM!).

Number of gatherings:—4. Most recent record:—1998.

Preliminary conservation status:—Endangered (EN – B1ab[i,ii,iii]+B2ab[i,ii,iii]). EOO = 3,365.757 km 2 and AOO = 12 km 2.

Conservation unit:—Campinhos State Park.
