Type species (by original designation): E. pumilio Myskowiak, Garrouste et Nel, 2018 .
Recognition. This genus is distinguished from all other genera of Drapetidini by a combination of the following characters: frons broadly V-shaped, eyes linearly approximate on face, a pair of inclinate upper orbital setae present, one pair of ocellar setae, small postpronotal lobe present, anepisternum with scattered setulae, wing with Rs long, cell bm absent (crossvein bm-cu absent), no trace of vein CuA+CuP.
Included species. Eodromyia pumilio Myskowiak, Garrouste et Nel, 2018: 280 , figs 1–4 (Oise amber of France, Sparnacian, lower Ypresian, basal Eocene, 53 Ma).
