Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 6 ). Wingspan 11.0‒12.0 mm. Saridoscelis sphenias is characterized by having a broad sclerotized ring-shaped plate at the conjunction of the ductus bursae and the corpus bursae that bears a second sclerotized plate, and the signum being a large slender circle of fine spines in the female genitalia ( Fig. 14 ).

Distribution. China ( Guangdong, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Taiwan, Zhejiang), India, Japan, Korea, Myanmar, Sri Lanka.
