Notes:—The lectotype chosen preserves current usage, and shows the characters attributed to the section in the protologue. The name Ulmus section Oreoptelea Spach, Ann. Sci. Nat., Bot. sér. 2 15: 363. 1841 nom. illegit., is superfluous since protologue of this section included the type of Ulmus section Blepharocarpus Dumort. (Art. 52.1 of the ICN).
