4. Mniopamea kashmirensis Hacker & Peks, 1992: 180
TL: Jammu & Kashmir
Distribution. India: Himachal Pradesh ( Hacker & Peks 1992). Global: Unknown.
Dubious Records
1. Athetis himalayica ( Hampson, 1894: 193) was errorously mentioned as Athetis himalayica Kollar , in Hügel, [1844] in Bálint et al. (2014)
2. Chasmina sinuata Galsworthy, 1997
3. Cucullia cellulata Warren, 1911 . Cucullia cellulata (TL: Spiti in the Himalayas) is a synonym of Physetica phricias (Meyrick, 1887) : 20. According to Poole (1989), if synonmy is correct, then the type locality is in error.
4. Harutaeographa maria Hreblay & Ronkay, 1999: 494 (TL: Jammu & Kashmir, Naltar valley [ Pakistan])
5. Lacanobia oleracea ( Linnaeus, 1758)
6. Noctua albipes Fabricius, 1794
7. Noctua auida Fabricius, 1794
8. Noctua cribraria Fabricius, 1794
9. Noctua equeflris Fabricius, 1775
=equestris (mispell. Poole 1989)
10. Noctua inquinata Fabricius, 1794
11. Noctua lyncea Fabricius, 1781
12. Noctua mezenteria Fabricius, 1794
13. Noctua interposita ( Hübner, 1790) . Noctua consequa Hübner, [1803] : pl. 23 (as synonym P. orbona Hufnagel, 1766: 304 ) was reported from India by Hampson 1903 but N. consequa is now synonym of N. interposita ( Hübner, 1790) . Thus, N. interposita is mentioned here from India but needs further confirmation. Dar et al. (2015) again mentioned N. orbona as first record from India without referring Hampson (1903).
