Subgenus Platyperigea Smith, 1894: 60
Type species: Platyperigea camina Smith, 1894: 60 , pl. 6, f. 9, by original designation.
Platyperiga Smith, 1894: 60 (An incorrect original spelling). Platyperigea was the spelling used in the binomen of three new species and their figures; the spelling ‘Platyperiga’ used as the heading was an inadvertent error, and has not been subsequently used by other authors.
