Distribution. India: Sikkim ( Hampson 1908). Global: Australia, Indonesia ( Bali, Sulawesi, Sumbawa, Sumatra), Myanmar, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Thailand ( Kononenko & Pinratana 2013).
Remark: Worldwide three subspecies, B. n. nivifascia , distributed in Malaysia and Sumatra, B. n. tumefacta Warren, 1913, distributed in Nepal and Sikkim, and B. n. longidens Prout, 1926, distributed in Myanmar, Sulawesi, Moluccas and Solomon Islands.
