TL: Spiti valley, Himachal Pradesh ( India)
Distribution. India: Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir ( Hacker et al. 2002). Global: unknown.
Remark. The nominotypic is distributed in Europe and Africa extending its range upto Afghanistan. Further, Phalaena Noctua chrysozona Borkhausen, 1792: 264 (synonym of H. dysodea ) was mentioned from Kashmir ( Hampson 1902).
Genus Hemiglaea Sugi, 1980: 200 View in CoL
Type species: Penicillaria costalis Butler, 1879: 367 , by original designation.
