Genus Metopoceras Guenée, 1850 : xviii
Type species: Polia felicina Donzel, 1844: 199 , pl. 6, fig. 2, by monotypy.
= Nudifrons Staudinger, 1897 : pl. 4, f. 24 (TS: Nudifrons delicata Staudinger, 1897 : pl. 4, fig. 24)
= Calloecia Hampson, 1908: 8 View in CoL (TS: Anthracia swinhoei Butler, 1883: 162 , but cited by Hampson as ‘ C. svinhoei ’, an unjustified emendation. Anthracia swinhoei was orginally proposed as Anthaecia, an incorrect subsequent spelling. The generic name Calloecia View in CoL available but without included species until Hampson (1910): vii, 56)
