Distribution: Species known from England (intr.); Aruba; Barbados; Colombia; Costa Rica; Cuba; Guatemala; Haiti; Honduras; Nicaragua; Panama; Peru; Puerto Rico; Trinidad; Venezuela; Mexico; Hawaiian Is.; USA: Leeward Is., Texas, Virgin Is.; China (intr.); Japan (intr.); Midway (intr.); New Zealand (intr.); Northern Marianas Is. (intr.); Southern Marianas Is. (intr.) ( Háva 2007, 2011). New introduced species for Spain.
Remarks: The mentioned specimens were collected together with Anthrenus (Nathrenus) verbasci (Linnaeus, 1767). The species Trogoderma anthrenoides (Sharp, 1902) looks very similar to Trogoderma inclusum LeConte, 1854 (Fig. 2) andTrogoderma versicolor (Creutzer, 1799) (Fig. 3), but differs from them in the colour patterns on elytra and structure of antennae and male genitalia.
