BIN distribution: BOLD:ACS0927 ( the Netherlands, Germany, Croatia), BOLD:AED9196 (North Macedonia). Remarks: DNA barcode data show that there are at least two genetically divergent clusters in Europe, one (BOLD: ACS0927) of these probably includes typical L. rivulorum and the second one (BOLD:AED9196) from North Macedonia which probably represents a species new to science.
