Diagnosis

Males of Hatitia riveti differ from those of other species in the yhuaia group by having palps with an enlarged, subquadrate and bilobed ventral tegular projection ( Fig. 5F–G View Fig ), while in H. zarate sp. nov., the ventral tegular projection is elongated and narrow ( Fig. 7C View Fig ); in H. cajuata sp. nov., the ventral tegular projection is wide and square ( Fig. 10C–D View Fig ); in the other species of the group, the ventral tegular projection is short and rounded ( Figs 3C–D View Fig , 6E View Fig , 7C View Fig , 9C View Fig , 10D View Fig ). Females of Hatitia riveti differ from those of other species of the yhuaia group by the epigynal plate with very enlarged lateral lobes across its entire length ( Figs 4F View Fig , 5L View Fig ), while in the other species of group, the lateral lobes are narrowed in the anteromedian region ( Figs 1H View Fig , 3H View Fig , 6I View Fig , 7F View Fig , 8F View Fig ; 10I View Fig ).
