Amended description. Head mostly brownish, ocellar triangle slightly darker ( Fig. 3a View FIGURE 3 ). M-line pale, tentorial callosities distinct. Antennae dark brown basally, scape and distal portion pale, palpi brown. Pronotum pale brown with slightly darker rugosities, anterior margin pale, midline slightly darker than background ( Fig. 3a View FIGURE 3 ). Femora pale, tibiae and tarsi brown to dark brown ( Fig. 3a View FIGURE 3 ). Hemitergal lobe ca. 4X as long as the basal width, apex upcurved and blunt. Inner margins of the lobe covered with spinules which are more dense at base ( Figs. 3b–c View FIGURE 3 ). Tergum 9 with dark mesal sclerite bearing sensilla basiconica covering most tergal length, the sclerite generally appearing as an inverted triangle. Tergum 8 with a subquadrate posteromedial sclerite ( Figs. 3b View FIGURE 3 , 4c–d View FIGURE 4 ). Tergum 7 lacks sensilla basiconica.
Aedeagus ( Figs. 3d–f View FIGURE 3 ) mostly membranous, basal half straight but apical half curved distinctly dorsally. Armatures mainly minute to small spines covering most of dorsal and ventral surface. Distal half with an ear-like ventral lobe and a spinulose dorsal knob, the extreme of apex triangular and bald ( Figs. 3e–f View FIGURE 3 ).
Female and egg. Unknown.
Examined material. 1 male ( CAU), China: Yunnan Province, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Lüchun County, Qimaba, 22.8030°N, 102.2407°E, 726 m, 2012. V.9, leg. D. Yang; GoogleMaps Holotype male ( IZCAS), labelled “ Kamimuria trapezoidea Wu, 1962 , Holotype, Yunnan, Jinping City, Hetouzhai , 1700 m, 1956.V.11,leg. Keren Huang et al. light trap ( Fig. 4a View FIGURE 4 )”; Holotype male ( IZCAS), labelled “ Kamimuria acutispina Wu, 1973 ), Holotype, Yunnan, Jinping City, Hetouzhai , 1700 m, 1956.V.15, leg. Keren Huang, light trap ( Fig. 4b View FIGURE 4 )”.
Distribution. Yunnan, China; Vietnam.
Remarks. The lateral outline and armatures of the aedeagus of this species are quite similar to K. azunensis Sivec & Stark, 2008 , a species known from Vietnam. However, K. azunensis lacks a subquadrate posteromedial sclerite ( Sivec & Stark 2008, see their fig. 14), which is always present in Kamimuria trapezoidea ( Figs. 3b View FIGURE 3 , 4c–d View FIGURE 4 ). We checked and compared the type of K. acutispina Wu, 1973 and K. trapezoidea Wu, 1962 , we found the apex of hemitergal lobe of K. acutispina is generally similar to that of K. trapezoidea , instead of being so acute as the original illustration, thus their terminal characters are identical ( Figs. 4c–d View FIGURE 4 ). We also found they were collected in the same locality and same week in May, 1956 by the same collectors. We take this chance to re-describe this species based on the type material and newly collected male, and place K. acutispina as a subjective junior synonym of K. trapezoidea .
