Identification source. Keyed using Lelej (2023) and compared with voucher specimens from Thailand ( Williams et al. 2019b) [THNHM].

Previous record. This species was recorded from Vietnam by Williams et al. (2019b) without reference to voucher specimens.

Distribution. Cambodia. China. Laos. Thailand. Vietnam: Bac Kan *, Vinh Phuc *, Ha Tinh *, Gia Lai *, Dong Nai *.

Occurrence in Vietnam. April, May, July, August. South China-Vietnam subtropical evergreen forests, Northern Annamites rain forests, Southern Annamites montane rain forests, and Southeast Indochina dry evergreen forests ecoregions. 30–834 m alt.

Sex association. This species was initially described from the female only. The male was recognized by Brothers & Lelej (2017) and later described and illustrated by Lelej (2023). However, the evidence of this association was not indicated in any of these publications. Williams et al. (2019b) examined a pair in copula from Thailand.

Remarks. The male pictured ( Figs 8A, 8B) was collected in Thailand in copula with a female ( Williams et al. 2019b). This male perfectly matches the male description by Lelej (2023).
