Kurzenkotilla Lelej, 2005: 34 , ♀; Lelej & Brothers 2008: 31; Pagliano et al. 2020: 225; Lelej et al. 2023: 458, ♂ ♀. Type species: Artiotilla ariana Lelej in Lelej & Kabakov, 1980 (♀), by original designation.
Diversity and distribution. This genus includes nine species from the Oriental and Palaearctic Regions (Lelej et al. 2023). The type species is the only Palaearctic member of the genus. In East Asia, this genus is represented by two species, both of which occur in Vietnam. Another six species are known from South Asia .
Remarks. This genus, together with other Oriental mutilline genera, was recently reviewed by Lelej et al. (2023).
