Identification source. Keyed using Mickel (1933a) and Chen (1957) and compared with the original description.

Distribution. China. Taiwan. Vietnam *: Dong Nai.

Occurrence in Vietnam. October. Southeast Indochina dry evergreen forests ecoregion. 100 m alt.

Sex association. Female unknown.

Remarks. In the Oriental Realm, black body integument is rare in Bischoffitilla males, but most males from the eastern Palaearctic have the body largely darkened ( Tsuneki 1972a; Terayama et al. 2011).
