Genus Hemutilla Lelej, Tu & Chen in Tu et al., 2014 urn:lsid:zoobank.org:act:3770A069-74D3-4EC3-9EBF-D04C6A31BEED
Hemutilla Lelej, Tu & Chen in Tu et al., 2014: 76, ♂ ♀; Brothers et al. 2019: 581; Pagliano et al. 2020: 28. Type species: Hemutilla granulata Tu, Lelej & Chen, 2014 (♂), by original designation.
Diversity and distribution. This genus includes six species known from China (both Palaearctic and Oriental parts) and Taiwan ( Tu et al. 2014). Two species, H. bifurcata ( Chen, 1957) and H. granulata Tu, Lelej & Chen, 2014 , are newly recognized from Vietnam in this study.
Remarks. This genus was reviewed by Tu et al. (2014). The first record of the genus and the subfamily from Vietnam is presented below. Hosts are unknown for this genus. The species of the other Old World sphaeropthalmine genus Cystomutilla are known to parasitize cavity-nesting apoid wasps ( Hymenoptera : Crabronidae ) ( Borries 1892; Ferton 1908; Lelej 1985; Gôukon 1993).
